Think, Don't Drink!
Think, Don't Drink! is an informative alcohol
prevention program taught to fourth- and fifth-grade students
throughout the Huntsville/Madison County community.
Participants learn about some of the effects of alcohol on the
brain including impaired judgment, memory loss, slowed movements,
unconsciousness, and blurred vision. They discuss ways to
refuse alcohol when offered and and the benefits of being involved
in fun activities other than drinking.
Pre-
and post-tests are used to evaluate knowledge and awareness levels
before and after the four-session program.
