Red Ribbon Rally
Come show your commitment to a drug-free
community
Partnership
for a Drug-Free Community coordinates Madison County's participation
in this nationwide drug awareness campaign held in October in
memory of Enrique Camarena, a drug agent tortured and murdered by
dealers. The
18th annual event, was held at Joe Davis Stadium and included performances
by local high school bands, youth
activities clubs, dance troupes, and special guests. Winners of a
drug-free poster
contest are honored and goody bags are distributed to those
attending.
Every year people from all over Madison County
gather to demonstrate and renew their commitment to a drug -free
community.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer
for this event, please call the Partnership office, 256-539-7339.
