Community Resource Center
Because healthy families are the foundation of
every strong community, Partnership for a Drug-Free Community created
the Community Resource Center. The Center was developed specifically
to assist parents by keeping them informed and providing needed
support. The Center promotes responsible parenting through education,
support, referral and awareness programs. All of the Center's programs
are free.
- Parents
Reference Library:
The Center maintains a reference library of parenting books, tapes,
handouts and brochures. Topics range from discipline to nutrition
and parenting issues from babies to teenagers. Most materials
are available for checkout.
- Speakers Bureau:
Experts on parenting and families, substance abuse, and other
topics are available to make presentations to church groups, civic
groups and professional organizations.
- Information and Referral:
Partnership for a Drug-Free Community keeps an extensive list
of organizations providing educational, medical, emotional and
financial assistance to families. Our staff can make appropriate
referrals to these organizations and help parents find the support
they need quickly.
Please visit our Parents
Reference Library or to receive a referral or schedule a presentation
for your organization, please contact us.
