This year marks the 27th year of the Partnership for a Drug-Free Community.....
Deborah Soule has been the Executive Director of Partnership for 27 years. See her story in the section "Why We Are Here".
Candice joined the Partnership in January 2003 on a part-time, temporary basis tasked with organizing the Legacy Luncheon community-wide, youth drug prevention event and fundraiser. Within six months, Candice was offered a full-time position as project manager of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) grant. During her tenure she has been most interested in tackling the rising prescription medication abuse epidemic.
Currently Candice serves as the part-time Associate Director. Candice is a Huntsville, Alabama native and graduate of the UAHuntsville. Prior to joining the Partnership, Candice was employed by various local computer software and hardware companies as marketing technical writer and consultant.
Elaine Carlton, Office Manager, began work at Partnership in July 2003. She is a firm believer that illegal drug prevention should begin early and the message should be repeated frequently. Partnership's programs all reinforce this message.
