Kelly Bear to the Rescue
Research shows that drug and alcohol prevention
programs are more effective when taught at an early age because
children form life-long health-related attitudes and behaviors during
pre-school years.
The Kelly Bear to the Rescue program targets preschool
age children and delivers an important message about alcohol and
drug use. Trained volunteers teach preschoolers about the dangers
of tobacco, alcohol, poison and medicine in four, half-hour classes.

The life-size Kelly Bear mascot even makes
special appearances to help reinforce the lessons learned in the
interactive classes.
