Partnership for a Drug-Free Community has been fortunate to enjoy a tradition of philanthropy to support its mission, programs and services. Starting in 1988 with a $100,000 contribution from the Junior League of Huntsville, community support for Partnership continues today through monetary donations, in-kind services and volunteer support. Individual and corporate contributions are a vital source of funding for Partnership. In the past, 40 businesses from North Alabama have sponsored our fundraising event, the Legacy Luncheon. The 2010 Legacy Luncheon raised $14,000, which supports programs and services including the Community Resource Center and Reference Library, program development and drug and alcohol awareness campaigns like the annual Red Ribbon Rally.
