At-Risk Tutorial Program
Tutoring and counseling for students in need
at Madison County Schools
Students struggling with academics or emotional
problems receive much needed attention through this program. Degreed
tutors work with students one-on-one or in study groups, depending
on the individual needs of each student. More than 2000 hours of
tutoring is provided during each school year.
In addition, the At-Risk Tutorial Program offers
individual or group counseling services from a licensed psychologist
for students dealing with emotional issues that may be affecting
their school performance.
Specifically developed for the Madison
County Schools, this program is scheduled to run through the
2006 school year. Funding is provided by the Madison County Schools
and the State of Alabama.
