Working together, it took 11:75 seconds for Team ADTRAN to pull the 46,000 pound Madison fire engine 50 feet at the 2021 Truck Pull.
Partnership for a Drug-Free Community is looking for participants, volunteers, and sponsors for its upcoming “Pullin’ for Partnership Fire Truck Challenge.” This unique event involves a team of 10 who work together to pull a 46,000-pound fire engine the length of 100 feet. There are trophies, including ones for the fastest and slowest pull! Last year the fastest time was 10:15 seconds, and the slowest was just under 16 seconds.
This year, the public will be invited, and we will have music, youth activities, food trucks, a scavenger hunt and dance competitions with prizes. It will be held at Madison City Schools Stadium on THURSDAY, NOV. 10, 2022, from 1 to 5 p.m. Pull times are prescheduled, the required time on site will be less than an hour. This is a great stressbuster or a fun team-building exercise.
If you are interested in participating volunteering, click here to request more information.
As a nonprofit with 34 years in our community working on youth drug, alcohol and tobacco prevention and education, and providing adult substance use disorder treatment assessments and referrals, we depend on volunteers and donations to keep operations running. Get ready to "PULL THAT TRUCK!"
